Mahmoud, Essam

Professor, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals; Dhahran, Saudi Arabia Essam Mahmoud is Professor of Quantitative Analysis and Quality in the Management and Marketing Department at King Fahd University. He was previously Chair of Technology Management and Director of the Technology Management Program at Arabian Gulf University and has taught at Arizona State University, the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), the University of North Texas, the University of Michigan at Flint, and Concordia University. He has experience as a consultant in the Middle East and the U.S. Mahmoud received his MBA and Ph.D. in Management Science and Systems from SUNY Buffalo and another MBA from Ain Shams University in Cairo in Production Planning and Control. He is an editorial board member of 11 journals. He has published over 65 papers and lectured at seminars and executive training courses around the world.
